Summer Fundraising Challenge

Matthew Heck, 17, and a group of his friends from Wichita High School East organized a 1,300 mile relay against genocide from Wichita, KS to Washington, DC. Each day, the high schoolers ran more than 100 miles, raising over $25,000 for GI-NET in the process. They received a hero's welcome when they arrived in Washington, including having their efforts recognized by Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback, as shown in the picture to the right.

Join these motivated students by taking part in our Summer Fundraising Challenge! [7]

The top 25 summer fundraisers will receive a free Darfur Now DVD and a signed Darfur Now poster, and will be featured on the GI-NET website. Click here for more information and ideas. [8]
